- OperaOggiNY is pleased to announce General Auditions, to be held January 23 and 24, 2013.
Seeking ALL voice categories for our Spring/Summer season, to include Operas of the Standard Repertoire as well as works by Modern/Contemporary Composers.
In order to apply, please pay the $25 audition fee via PayPal at www.operaogginy.info. Upon completion of payment, singers may send resume and headshot to apply@operaogginy.com. Materials sent without completion of payment will not be considered.
Singers will be asked to present one aria in Italian and one aria or song in English.
Auditions are held at our rehearsal center at the Flatbush Reformed Church, 890 Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn (Q train to Church Ave). Performances are held at various locations in the Tri-State area, including venues in Manhattan.
All roles and covers available. We look forward to meeting you.

Young Artists Program:
All Young Artists will be given cover and mainstage roles according to their level and abilities. They will be expected to fulfill initial coachings (10) with the Artistic Director. (5 qualifying and 5 immediately after acceptance into the program).- After qualifying each candidate will join the company for 1 year receiving stage experience and additional training. Each Young Artist will fulfill participatory activities supporting the company’s productions.

- 890 Flatbush Ave (Flatbush and Church - Q train to Church St. Station - turn left as you exit the station, go to the corner cross Church to the other side of the Ave and then walk 2 blocks down Church-and enter through the black iron fence gate on the right. Follow that sidewalk to the Church House inside the church property. The Church house is a large 3 story brick building walk up the steps to the main entrance that faces the cemetery.)
